Join South Lyon Area Recreation Authority for a day filled with colorful fun! Get ready for SLARA’s Spring/Summer activities by creating your own fun garments to wear all season-long. Whether you’ve never tie – dyed before, want to relive the 60s, or love a family fun activity; our Family Tie Dye event is perfect for you! Bring along two pre-washed white cotton items to tie dye. Items can be as small as pair of socks or as large as an adult t-shirt. No tie dye experience is necessary, the SLARA staff will be teaching participants two different tie dye designs. Participants will leave with their item in a zip lock baggie to sit for 24hrs before washing & wearing! After care instructions will be included.
